The Y Ride: Cycle for Kids | Red Deer

On November 15, the Northside Community Centre YMCA is excited to welcome participants to our annual community fundraising event in support of youth, The Y Ride: Cycle for Kids.

The Y Ride: Cycle for Kids welcomes cycling teams of 4-5 to take part in a fun morning of cycling on stationary bikes, music and friendly competition. Participants compete over a 3-hour stretch of high-energy riding to see who can achieve the greatest distance of the morning. Teams pledge to raise funds in support of their effort, with all proceeds raised empowering children in our community through the Strong Kids, Strong Communities campaign.

Our event runs concurrently with other Y Rides happening in Edmonton and Wood Buffalo.

Strong Kids, Strong Communities directly supports individuals across northern Alberta to access YMCA programs and services that help improve and enhance their lives. This includes support programs for at-risk youth, emergency child care, and summer day camps for kids.

This event also includes a Pre-Event Breakfast from 8am-9am.
